To empower lives and create a resilient society where everyone most especially children and young people have access to basic and fundamental human rights and needs. 

A) To ensure every child and young person have the needed protection and secure future through education, child protection, heath, WASH, and food security in Ghana.  B) To empower youths through technical and vocational skills training and to contribute towards the achievement of the SDGs. 

The YVLG serves as the medium of which children and young people are nurtured and groomed to achieve their purpose in live through:  A) Child development capacity building events at district, regional and national levels. B) The provision of basic human rights and needs by providing safe drinking water and quality education for our target groups at all levels. C) National youth empowerment programmes. D) The promotion and protecting of human rights at all levels. E) Ensuring inclusion by advocating for the inclusion of children and young people in developmental agenda. F) Creating the avenues for children and young people to network and share common national issues affecting them in general. 

WHO WE ARE

The Young Visionary Leaders Ghana herein refers to YVLGhana is a youth-led national Non-Governmental Organization. It was established on the 6th march, 2015 in Amasaman Accra Ghana. It was registered with the government of Ghana at the Registrar General Department Accra under the company act, 1963(act 179) with the registration number CG027002016 and was later registered with the Ministry of Social Welfare under the department of the Social Development with the Registration Number d.s.d/7000. The Young Visionary Leaders works in the thematic areas of education, leadership, community development, social intervention Programmes, youth, children, water and sanitation.

  • Junior High Science, Mathematics and I.C.T Quiz Competition.
  • National Junior High Debate for Government Schools.
  • Senior High Schools SDGs Awareness.
  • Sanitation (clean up exercise across our communities).
  • Provision of potable water (boreholes drilling).
  • Leadership Entrepreneurship Seminars at the various tertiary institutions across Ghana.
  • Charity and donation projects in deprived communities.
  • Enfant Africains (promoting French language in Ghana through organization of French spelling ‘bee’ and establishment of French Libraries across the country).
  • Advocacy for social intervention on national platforms (Social Accountability).
