The Young Visionary Leaders Ghana is a youth led and focused National Non-‐Governmental Organization which was established on 6th march 2015 in Ghana. It was a dream that was birthed by Mr. Joseph Tettey Afangbe the founding director of the YVLG. It was registered in a few months after its establishment with the government of Ghana on the 16th may, 2016 at the Registrar General Department Accra with the registration number CG027002016. The organization was initially operating as students club in various basic schools in Amasaman a community somewhere in Accra Ghana for about a year, with the aim of helping school children and young people to excel academically in order to achieve their goals and become prolific leaders in the future. The organization was later registered as a National Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) with the Social Development Department under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection. Since then the organization has been working to promote education, sanitation, leadership, charity, and human right and community development which is helping children and young people from different communities in Ghana. On the 7th June 2017, the Young Visionary Leaders Ghana had its certificate of recognition as a National NGO from the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection with Registration Number d.s.d/7000 under the department of Social Development in Accra-Ghana. Young Visionary Leaders is currently working to promote the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We believe the world would be a better place for this and generations to come when we all work together as one people with common destiny.
