The Young Visionary Leaders Ghana is a dynamic youth- led non-governmental organization that emerged from the visionary zeal of Mr. Joseph Tettey Afangbe, its founding director, on March 6th, 2015, in Ghana. Following its inception, the organization swiftly obtained official recognition from the Government of Ghana on May 16th, 2016, through registration with the Registrar General Department in Accra (Registration Number: CG027002016). Originating as a student club in various elementary schools in Amasaman, Ghana, the organization dedicated its initial efforts to nurturing academic excellence among school children and youth. Over time, it evolved into a nationally recognized Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), officially endorsed by the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection's Social Development Department.
Since its transformation, the Young Visionary Leaders Ghana has committed itself to multifaceted initiatives aimed at fostering education, sanitation, leadership, charitable endeavors, human rights, and community development. Its impact extends across diverse communities in Ghana, empowering children and youth to realize their potential.
In recognition of its dedication and impact, the organization received formal acknowledgment as a National NGO from the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection under the department of Social Development. on June 7th, 2017, bearing Registration Number d.s.d/7000, under the auspices of the Social Development Department in Accra, Ghana.
Currently, the Young Visionary Leaders Ghana is actively engaged in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly focusing on Goals 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, and 17. Through collaborative efforts, we envision a world where unity prevails, ensuring a better future for generations to come.
